So.... I got an official interview! But with a different job. Actually, it's the job that I applied to just two days ago, and they contacted me yesterday about the interview, and now it's scheduled for next week.
I was so excited about having a job interview, I was bursting with energy, so I played with my grandparent's cat (Who is very high energy) and told everyone I could that I was going to have a job interview! I've calmed down a bit now, thinking about it doesn't send me into a trembling excitement, but I am still very happy for being able to see my effort pay off.
It's a warehouse job, but it's working with books. I love books, and I hope I'll love the people, too. I already have a list of questions that I can ask during the interview since I prepared them for the phone screening, and the job itself is pretty flexible with hours, so it should work for me! I'm feeling prepared and ready for a new chapter in my life. A new beginning.
I am sitting here right now feeling directionless. Though I know pretty soon, I'll have a job that will take up a good chunk of the day and give some more purpose to the time that I spend, right now, I've been feeling like I have more time than I can spend doing productive things, so I end up scrolling on Instagram or YouTube watching things that don't necessarily up lift or help, just distract and take up time.
I will take note that that is something that I want to change, and it is a change that might come naturally with a full-time job. So, if I can grant myself some patience to allow these things to become my reality, I will be just fine.
... So I say, but I'm still feeling disappointed in myself at this moment because I believe I could use my time better; I just don't know how quite yet. :P
